The retirement age calculator helps you determine at what age and on what date you can retire according to the Republic of Turkey Social Security Institution (SGK) legislation.
Key Periods
Retirement rules in Turkey are divided into three main periods based on your insurance entry date:
- Before Sept 8, 1999: Covers those within the scope of EYT (Retirement Age Victims). Retirement is possible with premium days and insurance period regardless of age (according to current regulations).
- Sept 8, 1999 - April 30, 2008: Requires age 58 for women, 60 for men, and 7000 premium days.
- After May 1, 2008: The age requirement gradually increases to 65, and 7200 premium days (9000 for self-employed/Bağ-Kur) are required.
